I think this is a great set to own! This was a perfect gift for my fiancé and my brother. It's funny and gives a great summary of the bible. It is not for kids as one reviewer mentioned. The author does have a line of biblical children's books in Lego format.

I don't get the parents fuss about it. The REAL bible IS GORE and really graphic. You don't sugar coat history. It is what it is. I just wished It was the complete Bible. At least the old testament which has a lot more to show. But overall I already recommended it to my friends. Even the non-religious ones want it now. Gotta find everybody's approach to the word because everybody is not the same.
