I started a new english class at school and I havent been in an english class in many years, so I thought this book was going to be boring and useless. However, going through this book in class has helped me sooooo much! Because of this book i've been receiving awesome grades on all my essays and research papers. It helps you with different style formats for writing different papers. I was thinking about re-selling it back on amazon but I am keeping this book. This book will help me through out my life!! I just have one complaint, the coil binding rips the papers easily! im very careful with mine and have seen some tears in the pages, but its something that I can live with.

I purchased this book to verify grammar and punctuation use in a novel that I was reviewing and proofreading for a local author. I found this book to be easy to use to find information that I was seeking and to confirm/deny grammar and punctuation rules that I questioned.
Rules for Writers This book is also used in many college writing courses and, of course, is recommended by college English instructors.
