Murderville 2: The Epidemic Description

New York Times best-selling authors Ashley & JaQuavis are back with the second installment in the epic Murderville Series. Love, murder, loyalty, and money fill this hood tale as they continue this international street saga.

With Samad’s target on her back, Liberty must survive the harsh streets alone. but when a chance encounter pushes her into the arms of a new friend, Po, the two take on the California kingpin and step full force into the game. As bullets and sparks fly, the unlikely pair embark on a serendipitous journey back to where it all started, Sierra Leone. With a new overseas connection, Po sees an opportunity that is too good to pass up. When his pursuit of the American dream conflicts with Liberty’s past, will they be able to survive? Or will the drug empire that they’ve built together come crashing down?

In Murderville (1), the authors gave us Ashai; a boy every girl wants and a man that every woman needs. He was the root of the story and he made Murderville what it was; a love story. He was the main character, to me. Liberty was always very naive, if she weren't she would've never worked in that whore house where she was sold off to Samad. If the authors wanted to portray her as some strong, independent woman, she would've never got into the limo with that lady ( forgot her name) where Liberty got on her knees and ate her p*$$* for fancy clothes and shoes. She would've lived on the streets, went through the struggle and then came out on top.

Liberty has always been weak in my opinion. To trust a man like Po, who you don't even know, who to start, rescues her from danger, then puts her back in the hands of danger. Then stays with him??? I never liked Po and never will. The disrespect alone is enough to not give him a chance. The bathroom chapter with the other woman in the shower was all I could take. Hopefully he becomes a dope head and just dies in the beginning of part 3.

I have no idea how the authors will spin this. Part 2 is lacking everything that part 1 has. Love, loyalty, passion and pain. Instead we read about a nobody drug dealer with a couple hundred thousands to his name, who was handed the life of a multi millionaire to live, who has yet to even bust his own gun through the entire book. Po's reign is handed to him on a silver platter. He goes from being robbed to a Boss; overnight. Po is portrayed as a king when really he's a user and a punk and if it weren't for Liberty, he wouldn't have any of it, but this punk chooses to turn his back on her for an obvious snake. I'm guessing the authors wanted us readers to dislike Po, right?
